Congress president Kharge asked PM Modi for appointment to personally explain the partys election manifesto
Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking time from him to explain in person the party's election manifesto "Nyay Patra".
The letter comes days after Kharge sought an appointment with PM Modi to “convince him about the party’s manifesto”
Kharge told Modi that he was being "misinformed about things in the Congress's manifesto," and requested for an in-person meeting with him to explain the 'Nyay Patra' as "the Prime Minister doesn't make false statements."
In the letter, Kharge said the 'Nyay Patra' aims at providing "nyay (justice)" to the youngsters, women, farmers, labourers and marginalised people across all castes and communities, he said.
